Why "Specialty"?
Classic Cookie coffees are considered “specialty” or “top-tier” coffees
in the industry. This top level of quality is not typically found in supermarkets
or discount retailers, it’s reserved for coffeehouses and fine restaurants.
Our coffee is specialty because of these three factors:
Ingredients: “Specialty” coffees are made from only the top 2% to 3% of the world’s harvest of Arabica species coffee, which in itself is only about half of the world’s crop.
Roasting: “Specialty” coffees are hand-roasted in traditional steel and iron roasters in small batches. Artisan-roasted specialty coffees are always cooled with air after roasting that maximizes flavors and aromas.
Blending: “Specialty” coffees are carefully matched with other top-tier coffees from different growing regions - much like notes are chosen on a piano - to blend together and create flavor “chords” that are uplifting and harmonious.

BAKERY BLEND This dark roast coffee is the perfect accompaniment to our cookies or any bakery treat. The base of this blend is a light and bright mix of South and Central American coffees. Indonesian and Latin American beans are added to create a smooth body and full, rich flavor. 12 oz. |

Brewing Instructions
Use the same amount of our coffee as you currently use (although you may find that ours is so smooth and good, you will want to make it a little stronger.) Always weigh or count scoops of ground coffee, to achieve consistency from day-to-day. We recommend using 2 Tablespoons of ground coffee for every 6 fl ounces of water.
Storing Instructions
Keep the bags sealed and in a cool, dry place until needed (inside a cupboard is perfect).
After opening, transfer the coffee into a sealed glass jar if it will not be used up within a few days. Keep the opened coffee inside the cupboard at room temperature. DO NOT refrigerate or freeze coffees after opening, as these environments tend to be humid and damaging to all coffees.
Don’t put the coffee away “for a special event”! Use and enjoy your unopened Classic Cookie coffees within 4 to 6 weeks for maximum quality.
