- Set goals. Create a group goal as well as individual goal. Share these
goals with your participants and let them know what will be done with the
money raised.
- Create excitement and increase participation by having a meeting with
participants. Make sure that everyone knows the importance of the fundraiser
and what they can do to help.
- Set specific fundraiser dates. We recommend running your fundraiser
for ten to fourteen days; make sure to include two weekends.
- Be organized. Make sure that everyone is aware of the fundraiser dates
and when they need to turn in their orders.
- Promote the fundraiser with posters and banners. Include the fundraiser
in public announcements.
- Make contact with your participants every couple of days during the fundraiser.
Encourage them and ask them how they are doing.
- Encourage your group to sell to parents, relatives and friends and
recruit them to help sell, as well. But remember - Never sell to strangers!
- Offer incentives to your group for selling a certain number of items.
- Have Fun!
